Growing in our love for God doesn’t only happen when we know what Jesus says, but when we apply what He says. And we believe application happens best within the context of community. To grow spiritually, you have to be     connected relation-ally. We believe God uses relationships to change each of us for the better, and the reality is that we don’t experience relationships just sitting in a pew. The most important area of growth occurs in fellowship, prayer, and reading & studying God’s Word. “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for  one another.” John 13:34

Secondly Jesus doesn’t want the church to be an exclusive club. He wants everyone to know Him and follow Him. So we think it’s vital that as we become fully engaged in church, we authentically love the unchurched people in our     lives. That doesn’t mean that we treat them as projects. It means that we genuinely care about them, getting to know what’s happening in their lives, and, when the time is right, we invite them to take an appropriate next step toward Jesus.
